Dr. Sivan Tamir\u05ea Israel Tech Policy Institute’s Policy Counsel & Senior Research Fellow recently took part in an EcoSceince community meeting (an initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology) on “AI in Healthcare and Welfare”, moderated by Dr. Galit Wellner.<\/p>\n

Sivan gave a presentation on the “Ethical aspects of implementing AI systems in the fields of medicine and welfare” (which was not recorded). Other presentations discussed the implementation and ethical challenges of AI use in the Ministry of Health\u00a0(Dr Anat Bohem-Kagan); using AI in the field of genetics\u00a0(Prof Noam Shomron); and directions for action and challenges in the application of AI in the Ministry of Welfare (Mrs Iris Florentin).<\/p>\n
