Privacy Protection Laws: Looking Toward the Future

The Israel Tech Policy Institute and the Israel Bar Association invite you to a seminar in Tel Aviv on legal issues concerning the core of the digital economy and society in the age of the Internet. In one of the sessions, Future of Privacy Forum CEO Jules Polonetsky will be leading a discussion on how Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and legislative efforts in the United States are affecting the global privacy landscape. In the final session, ITPI Director Limor Shmerling and other panelists will discuss recent attempts to update Israel’s 1981 privacy protection law.
