DESCRIPTION:On June 28\, FPF – Israel Tech Policy Institute with U.S. Commercial Service Israel – Official\, Start-Up Nation Policy Institute (SNPI)\, Amit\, Pollak\, Matalon & Co. held a very first joint conference briefing on 𝐔𝐒 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 – 𝐟𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬\, 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐁𝐏𝐑) 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬. \nThe conference was hosted at the offices of Start-Up Nation Central‘s Hub with opening remarks and greetings by Robyn Kessler\, the Commercial Counsellor and Senior Commercial Officer at U.S. Embassy Jerusalem – Tel Aviv Office and Uri Gabai\, CEO of Start-Up Nation Policy Institute (SNPI). \nThe first panel moderated by Future of Privacy Forum Senior Fellow and Goodwin Partner\, Omer Tene\, discussed: 𝐔𝐒 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 – 𝐟𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬\, 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 and included the panellists: Hilla Shribman (APM)\, Shoshana Gillers (TransUnion) and Jason Sarfati (Gravy Analytics). \nFuture of Privacy Forum‘sCEO Jules Polonetsky led the following discussion on: 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬 – 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐁𝐏𝐑 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 which began with a presentation of Dr. Assaf Patir\, Chief Economist of Start-Up Nation Policy Institute (SNPI)  introducing the CBPR System. \nPanellists on this panel included: Ari Ness (U.S. International Trade Administration) – USA\, Takeshige Sugimoto (S&K Brussels LPC and FPF Senior Fellow)\, Kate Charlet (Google) and Amit Ashkenazi. \nDr. Assaf Patir\, Chief Economist at Start-Up Nation Policy Institute (SNPI) presented #CBPR system report\, “A New Era for Data Flows\,” during the panel.
